''Showtime, Synergy!''

Nobody Knows that Jerrica Benton, owner of Starlight Records, is also glamourous rock star Jem.  Jerrica turns into Jem with the help of her hologram-generating computer Synergy, via a special pair of earrings she wears.  Besides their usual rockin' stage outfits, Jem and her band The Holograms make the scene in gorgeous and fancy outfits like the one she's wearing now.  Even though their musical rivals The Misfits boast "their songs are better, and they're gonna get her", they haven't been able to live up to that boast...and chances are they never will.

The two linearts were provided by sureya...The rest was done by me.
After coloring the linearts, I covered Synergy with some of that glitter spray paint...I'm not sure if you can see it, but it's there.
The energy fields around Synergy's hand and Jem's feet were created by a toy called Spirograph, then covered with that same glitter spray paint.

And now I hear news that Jem And The Holograms is about to be released as a live-action movie...( www.cnn.com/2014/10/16/showbiz… www.moviefone.com/2014/10/16/j… )...How's that for truly, truly, truly outrageous?
